“I’m so… bored!” Gumdramon groaned as he plodded around DigiQuartz. “And I can’t find Tagiru.” He kicked a pebble, which burst into data a second later. His turquoise eyes glinted with annoyance and he flapped his wings hesitantly, as if trying to resist the urge to fly. “Honestly, why are all the Digimon I find around here so cold? Mailbirdramon- heh! Don’t get me started on him! And ou-sama was right about Dorulumon, that insolent warrior. Speaking of the king…” The purple dragon narrowed his eyes, white paws clenched. “I didn’t beat him yet. I need to… uh… train! Yeah!” Gumdramon ran off to find a training partner, long feet leaping easily over the destroyed and abandoned human world garbage. “Yo! Anyone?”

(OOC: Just a little ‘life-from-Gumdramon’s-point-of-view’ piece I wrote up. I was feeling bored and a little lonely, so I decided to type something up. I must say, it’s better than I expected. I feel more in tune with my character now, to tell the truth.)

With Digi-Quartz not around any more, I feel like I lost a part of myself. It was like a second home to me, overlapped only by the Digital World from which I came. I can’t believe my whole adventure started only as a way to get away from the king, but it’s spiraled to so much more…

I can tell that Tagiru’s depressed. I don’t blame him. Digi-Quartz was a place to relieve all your worries and just battle and capture Digimon, fighting in complete sync with your partner. In all its blunt truth, life is just too boring without it. I wander around the human world… well, Japan, but that’s still in the human world. I stay with Tagiru, and we can talk and watch the stars, and fly on Locomon with Kiichi.

But really… what’s missing from my life is hunting, not the Digi-Quartz. I miss the adrenaline as I leap into the fray, with Tagiru shouting encouragement all the way. I have done the legendary Digi-Xros, and the even more legendary Super Evolution. But all I can really say is…

(OOC: Yay! Sorry if my posts are pathetic compared to yours.)

“Hm?” Gumdramon turned around, seeing a Digimon behind him. It had the appearance of a yellow dinosaur with green eyes. “Agumon!” He exclaimed, walking over to the reptilian Digimon. “I haven’t thanked you for saving me from that digital-earth thing, right?” He smiled. “How are you here in Digi Quartz? Is your partner a hunter too? How many Digimon have you hunted?” He was one hyper Digimon, at this point. If he was thinking right, Agumon was the Rookie form of WarGreymon. And WarGreymon had saved his life. Riding on the great dragon was a boy with goggles and messy brown hair. “Oh yeah, what’s your partner’s name? I’m guessing you know Tagiru.”

Agumon blinked as Gumdramon turned around, finally recognizing the purple Dragon-like creature. It was Gumdramon…a Digimon he had fought with before. How could he have forgotten? The dinosaur-like Digimon had managed to save him, though as WarGreymon rather than himself. He smiled back towards the other Digimon, finding himself glad he was being thanked for that.

It wasn’t any big deal or anything…this Digimon had a partner as well, so he would do the same for him in a pinch. However, Agumon froze up when he was suddenly bombared with questons from the hyperactive Digimon. Maybe he was really impressed by Taichi and himself? Agumon tried to register each question as best he could in his mind before answering.

“Oh uh…I’m not exactly sure. I was just minding my own business in the Digital World and somehow ended up here.” The yellow dragon-type Digimon admitted, putting a claw on the tip of his chin. He still wasn’t exactly sure how that happened, but he’d have to inspect that area further next time he passed it…if he could get back.

“As for Hunting…no, we’re not Hunters. We haven’t hunted any Digimon.” Agumon said, though he smiled towards the other Digimon, “My partner’s name? Oh, it’s Taichi. I think I know Tagiru.” Agumon paused in thought, knowing the name was familiar to him somehow. The boy was well…pretty ‘motivated’ most of the time that he had been around him. The boy was an interesting one…much more hyperactive than Taichi…but they still shared admirable traits.

“So what are you doing here Gumdramon?” Agumon decided to ask his own question, looking towards the other Digimon.

Gumdramon kicked a rock, a grumpy expression on his face. “Tagiru went to visit something he calls his grandparents. And since I… er… have a knack of jumping out of the Xros Loader when I feel like it, he didn’t want me to scare the life out of those people. So he told me to stay in Digi Quartz and that he’d call me if he needed me.” He looked up, turquoise eyes bright. “It’s nice to see another Digimon here, though… Tagiru and I always hunt here. I thought all Digimon with human partners were hunters! Well, you learn a new thing every day.” Gumdramon was practically beaming as he waved his tail. “Are you really strong, Agumon?” he asked. ”You’re pretty much my hero… I mean, you can Digivolve to Mega! That other Digimon… ShineGreymon I think… can too, but he calls his partner ‘boss’. Does that mean his partner controls him?” The little dragon was peppier than he had been in a while.

(Just wondering, but do I make Gumdramon in character? Maybe I shouldn’t have picked a male character to play… but he’s just so cute!)

Kotemon, probably! He was the only Digimon I Xrossed with as Gumdramon, so it’s close… But GigaBreakdramon has a megaton amount of power, and MetalTyrannomon too!

The digimon, a wild beast type digimon called Black Gaogamon, tried to escape from Gumdramon’s tail. So, he used the Spiral Blow against the purple dragon, releasing a vortex wind from his mouth in a breath.

- GUMDRAMON! - Tagiru yelled, worried - Are you ok?!

“Yeah…” Gumdramon hissed, cheek burning from the blow. “I’ll hunt you down, BlackGaogamon, no matter what! I’ll never give up!” He lunged toward the dark Digimon, who dodged him easily. Growling, he leaped up into the air. “Fire Vortex!” he yelled, starting to spin with flames flickering around him. “Let’s see how you take this!” He started zooming towards BlackGaogamon.
